Off-Highway
In agricultural machinery, short harvesting windows and high field performance are decisive for success. Machines therefore need to operate reliably even when exposed to dust, moisture, dirt and high mechanical loads. At the same time, drive systems are becoming increasingly powerful and complex.
KTR develops components for these practical requirements. Flange couplings connect engines with hydraulic pumps or transfer gearboxes. Couplings with PTO connections transmit power to mechanical auxiliary drives. Combination coolers and oil-air coolers provide the required temperature control.
From initial design through to series production, KTR works closely with manufacturers. This includes coupling design, torsional vibration analyses and the calculation of cooling capacity in coordination with the engine manufacturer. The result is drive and cooling systems tailored to the respective agricultural machine and its application.
BoWex® torsionally stiff flange couplings connect diesel engine drives with hydraulic pumps. The material combination of polyamide and steel enables maintenance-free operation.
MONOLASTIC® is a one-piece, flexible flange coupling for diesel engines and hydraulic pumps. BoWex-ELASTIC® and SINULASTIC® damp torsional vibrations and compensate for misalignments between the driving and driven side.
EVOLASTIC® is a highly flexible shaft coupling for main and auxiliary drives. Its torsionally soft characteristics provide vibration and acoustic isolation in the drive train.
MMC combination coolers combine several media such as oil, water, fuel and air in a compact cooling system, depending on the application. They are calculated for the application and tailored to the requirements of the respective agricultural machine.
OAC oil-air coolers provide cooling for hydraulic or gearbox oil. They cover cooling capacities from 2 to 350 kW and are designed for oil flow rates from 5 to 750 l/min.
